J Uniquez Beauti Bar is a Memphis-based salon dedicated to helping women glow from the inside out. We specialize in braiding short hair, healthy hair recovery, and protective styles that restore confidence. With our organic hair care line, we help clients heal from damage and regrow stronger, healthier hair. More than a salon, we are a movement — empowering women through beauty, mentorship, and education. PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING These policies are designed to respect both my clients’ time and mine, and to ensure every appointment runs smoothly. By booking, you agree to follow these guidelines. Thank you for your understanding and support! 📌 BOOKING POLICIES • Please read all booking policies and service descriptions carefully before scheduling. • Hair shorter than 4 inches requires a consultation before booking. • Shampoo is included in all services. • Appointment durations are estimates only and may run over. Service time does not include shampoo and blowout, which adds to your total appointment length. • All appointments must be booked online. 📌 DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS • A non-refundable deposit is required to book, with a $3 processing fee. • Deposits are applied towards your full service balance. • Remaining balances are non-refundable and must be paid in Cash, Apple Pay, Zelle, or Credit Card (GlossGenius allows secure in-person card payments). • No other payment methods are accepted. 📌 RESCHEDULING • Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. • A $45 rescheduling fee applies to all approved reschedules. • Appointments may be rescheduled one (1) time only. • Rescheduled appointments must remain within the same calendar month. • If you need to move your appointment to the next calendar month, the appointment will be cancelled, and a new booking with a new deposit will be required. • Appointments rescheduled more than once will be cancelled and require a new booking with deposit. 📌 LATE ARRIVAL • A 10-minute grace period is provided, as delays can happen on both ends. • If you anticipate running late, you must notify me at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. • Arrivals 30 minutes or more late will incur a $35 late fee, added to your balance. • Arrivals that exceed 30 minutes late may result in the appointment being cancelled due to time constraints. • If an appointment is cancelled due to excessive lateness, a $45 rebooking fee will apply to schedule a new appointment. • Late arrivals do not extend appointment time. 📌 CANCELLATION • All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged 100% of the service fee. • Same-day cancellations may be charged the full service amount. • No-call / no-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee and will be prohibited from booking future services. 📌BUY NOW, PAY LATER Clients who choose the Buy Now, Pay Later option will have a 6.99% convenience fee added to their total at checkout. This helps cover the cost of the financing program. To avoid this fee, clients are welcome to pay in full at the time of booking or at their appointment. 📌SHORT HAIR SERVICES • Clients must follow all instructions provided during the appointment to maintain their braids. • Once braids are installed, upkeep is the client’s responsibility. • A one-time courtesy touch-up within 7 days may be provided in case of emergency. This is optional and no additional touch-ups will be offered. • There are no refunds or partial refunds. Services and balances are final once completed. • Please note: Some braids in shorter areas may naturally loosen over time depending on activity. 📌CONTENT & MEDIA • All photos, videos, and recordings taken during services will be used for marketing and social media purposes only.
